When I sneeze, usually the best way to describe it would be that some sort of explosion just took place near my face. I’ve observed many different kinds of sneezes from people over the years so I thought I would go over a few of them here.
1) The repetitive sneezer: This person usually sneezes several times rapidly in a row. It is usually 5 or 6 quick sneezes in a row without a breath in between them. I had a friend when I was young who used to be a repetitive sneezer, I remember when he would start to sneeze we would start counting to see how many sneezes got out and one time he sneezed 14 times in a row, I’m pretty sure it was 14, crazy huh.
2) The canon shot sneezer: This person usually sneezes once, sometimes twice, but usually once and boy is it a doozy. This is the type that I mentioned in my first paragraph, it’s like an explosion, and for some reason it reminds me of a canon shooting. This is definitely my type of sneeze. I often startle my roommates when I sneeze, it is quite violent.
3) The Ha-choo sneezer: This is the typical and most common type of sneeze. It’s not extremely violent and it is usually just one fairly quick sneeze. It usually goes something like “ha-choo!”
4) The Wet sneezer: This is one that I’ve experienced, and by saying experienced I mean felt. Really anyone has the potential to be a “wet sneezer” but one should try and prevent letting others know if they have a wet sneeze. The wet sneezer lets moisture out of there nose or mouth when sneezing, when I was young I can still remember a girl who was sitting behind me in elementary school sneezing and I got a nice wet substance all over my neck. It was disgusting!
So my advice to you is to know your sneeze and do what you can to minimize it’s affect on those around you, that’s what you should do!
