For our product review this month I have selected Kombucha (pronounced kom-BOO-cha). It is, “a handmade Chinese tea that is delicately cultured for 30 days. During this time, essential nutrients form like: Active Enzymes, Viable Pro-biotics, Amino Acids, Antioxidants, and Polyphenols. All of these combine to create an elixir that immediately works with the body to restore balance and vitality”…that’s what the label says. They say it so much better than I, so I thought I would include it in this review. It is organic and raw and tastes like candy… elixir type candy. Also, there are no added additives (I did that on purpose), sugars, or refined ingredients. So there is no fake stuff or corn syrup or preservatives. It is always nice to know that one is drinking or eating some real food. Onward.
I heard about kombucha a while ago but when I saw GT’S in Whole Foods recently I had to get some. The convenience of being able to buy this high quality of a product instead of making it at home is a nice change. Kombucha is really an ancient beverage that has so many wonderful benefits. Many of these you can read about at GT’S site or on our stuffwelike page.
One of the great things I like about kombucha is that it can easily replace soda as your drink of choice for those trying to quit. That’s you… you should be quitting soda (or pop, or soda-pop, or cola, or pepsi-cola… depending where you’re from). But enough about what I think about Satans’ syrup and back to Kombucha.
Another thing I like is the feeling that this magical drink gives you, ok not magical, but it will give you an energy boost as well as a boost to your immune system. I guess that is two things in one, but stick with me.
Another favorite thing about drinking kombucha is the probiotics that it provides. Probiotics will help to combat the bad bacteria in your gut from all those years of bad choices : ).
So there you have it. WhatToDoAbout.com applauds GT’S for making a great product. In summary you will be making a good choice for your body and your taste buds will thank you for it.
