I don’t know about you but I like to be free… and that includes my feet. Flip flops offer some nice freedom for the feet but beware… oh beware, there are hidden dangers.
Danger #1: The toe divider. Some flip flops have a toe divider that will leave your little piggies chafed and bleeding.
Danger #2: Flat padding. The flatness of flip flops is no good for your natural arch. You need support. Moral support, breast support, and foot arch support.
Danger #3: Foot straps. Some foot traps are comfortable for all of 3 minutes and then you are ready to take them off. Also, beware of straps where the other end is secured through the bottom of the flip flop. Securing straps this way is poor design as it can get caught whilst walking and you can fall to your death. Also having the strap secured through the bottom wears it down and then it breaks prematurely.
A good pair of flipper floppers has a nice cloth strap secured in the middle of the sole that is wide enough to cuddle your foot. It also has some arch support whether built into the padding or above. The toe divider should be natural, you know‚Ķ ‚Äúone of the guys”‚Ķ another pea in the pod if you will.
So go git yerself some of dem flipper floppers.
