I decided I would post the number of games I have picked correctly and incorrectly so far this season with each blog containing my picks.
Week 1 – 8 correct and 7 incorrect. (15 games)
Week 2 – 9 correct and 6 incorrect. (15 games)
Week 3 – 9 correct and 7 incorrect. (16 games)
My overall record after 3 weeks: 26-20
Below are my Week 4 picks.
San Francisco at New Orleans
San Francisco has been improving and coming off two straight victories, they have a solid D and decent running game behind Frank Gore. The Saints have lost their past two games and will be looking to rebound at home. I think the Saints explosive offense will be enough to give them a win by a touchdown.
My Pick: New Orleans
Atlanta at Carolina
Carolina are coming off their first loss of the season last week at Minnesota, I think they rebound this week at home.
My Pick: Carolina
Houston at Jacksonville
Jacksonville came up with a huge win in the closing seconds of the game last week in Indy against the Colts. I think the Jags are about to start a nice little winning streak. Houston is 0-2 and has given up 69 points in it’s two games so far.
My Pick: Jacksonville
Cleveland at Cincinnati
This is the battle of Ohio and also the battle of the 0-3’s. The Bengals offense played much better last week against the Giants who have one of the best defenses in the league and lost a close one in overtime, I think they will feed off of the improvement in that game and get their first win of the season. I hope.
My Pick: Cincinnati
Arizona at N.Y. Jets
The Jets were blown out by San Diego last week and Arizona lost their first game of the season at Washington. I pick the Jets by a field goal.
My Pick: N.Y.Jets
Minnesota at Tennessee
Minnesota got their first win last week against Carolina and the Titans are rolling at 3-0. I think both teams will have a tough time running the ball as they both have strong run defenses. This will be a close fought battle that will be won in the fourth quarter.
My Pick: Minnesota
Green Bay at Tampa Bay
Two former division rivals go at it in this game. I think Green Bay will be able to score at least 20 points in this game and come away with the win.
My Pick: Green Bay
Denver at Kansas City
Jay Cutler will remain hot and tear up the Kansas City Chiefs. Denver scores 5 touchdowns in this blowout win.
My Pick: Denver
San Diego at Oakland
Oakland lost a close one against the Bills last week and have been playing good football since getting blown out in the first game of the year against Denver. San Diego won their first game last week convincingly against the Jets. I predict an upset.
My Pick: Oakland
Buffalo at St. Louis
The Rams are winless in 3 games and are giving veteran QB Trent Green the start over Marc Bulger. I don’t think changing QBs will help against the tough Buffalo defense. Marshawn Lynch will score a touchdown or two and Buffalo will pound the Rams in St. Louis.
My Pick: Buffalo
Washington at Dallas
So far I think Dallas is the best team in the NFC. Washington have been playing well of late but Dallas is too good and will stop the Redskins when they need to.
My Pick: Dallas
Philadelphia at Chicago
The Eagles are coming off a 15-6 win against the Steelers and the Bears lost a close game against the Bucs in overtime. I think this game will be another low scoring affair as Brian Westbrook is banged up and I just don’t see Chicago putting up a ton of points against the Eagles D. I think McNabb will throw a couple TDs although I am pulling for the Bears in this one.
My Pick: Philadelphia
Baltimore at Pittsburgh
I really do not like these two teams, but my dislike for the Steelers is greater. The Steelers offensive line got man-handled last week by the Eagles and Baltimore have one of the best defenses in the league. I think the Ravens get a huge win on the road.
My Pick: Baltimore

Looks good… I agree with most of them. I think the Minnesota, Titans game can go either way… the Titans could pull a win. I like your pick of Oakland over San Diego but I would still pick San Diego. Should be a good week of football!
