I wash my hands quite often. I also wash dishes quite often. I am always rolling up my sleeves. I am constantly rolling up my sleeves. I do not like to get the edge of my shirt wet and then have a wet shirt cuff touching me. It is just wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong, all wrong.
I think I have found my solution to the problem: the 3/4 sleeve. On the one hand, I like long sleeves because I like to be warm, especially in winter. On the other hand, I get tired of constantly rolling up my sleeves.
Up until this time, I had been working a partial solution. I wear button up shirts all the time and have the sleeves rolled up on them (I don’t mind it on button-up shirts). So now I have button-up shirts that have become everyday shirts. Shirts that I wear… well… pretty much all the time. I have a black one and a blue one that I am sure my friends are sick of seeing me wear. I don’t care. They have become so comfortable to me that I just can throw them on any day. Any day.
However, as of late, I have been wearing more 3/4 sleeves. I only had two, but then I got a third for Christmas. I am thinking this is a great way to go. I even cut one of my old sweatshirts to give my pj’s a 3/4 sleeve. I don’t have to roll up my sleeves and they are a decent length for ample warmth and they are pretty darn comfortable. I probably need two or three more to have a good rotation.
My birthday is in 4 months… but you can send a gift anytime.
