I am sure that this is a question you have been thinking about for quite some time. You have a rod (or several rods) laying on the floor in your garage and you are wondering what to do about them.
To start off, I will acknowledge the fact that there are many different types of rods that could be lying on your garage floor. It could be a 15mm chromed steel rod which you were planning to use for a custom build tripod for your camera that was new 5 years ago. There is also the possibility that A-rod could be lying on your garage floor. You don’t know who A-rod is? His full name is Alexander Emmanuel Rodriguez and he currently plays third base for the New York Yankees. I really have no idea what he might be doing on the floor in your garage, but if there are any used or unused syringes also on your garage floor then you might want to call the local authorities about that.
If you have a “hot rod” on your garage floor then I would say you are a lucky man (or woman) and you should let me take it out for a spin. There is also a high possibility that you have several fishing rods somewhere in your garage, attic, or shed. I am aware that there could be several other kinds of rods that might be on your floor, but I will address what you should do about the rods mentioned above as I think they are probably the most likely to come to mind when a person thinks about a rod.
So here is what I propose you do, if you have 15mm chromed steel rods in your garage then you should use them to build a custom tripod for your camera, even if that was not your original plan for them. You could then travel to Tampa, FL where the Yankees hold their spring training, along with your camera and tripod, and attempt to find A-rod (the Yankees third basemen) and take photos of him. You might even be able to get a nice shot of A-rod in his “hot rod”. After an enjoyable day of watching baseball you could then rent some fishing rods and head to the nearest lake or beach to catch some dinner. What a great idea huh!
If A-rod is lying on your garage floor then you should go buy a 15mm chromed steel rod and tap him with it to see whether or not he wakes up and also to use as protection if he attacks you after you wake him up. I am guessing he is a pretty strong guy. If A-rod wakes up and starts chasing you I would have a “hot rod” waiting outside your house as a possible escape vehicle. If you are driving away from A-rod who is chasing after you then I would drive out to the country somewhere, maybe to a random lake where you can find some fishing rods and pass the time away by catching some large mouth bass. That’s what I would do anyway.
If you happen to be so fortunate to have a “hot rod” sitting on your garage floor then it’s all pretty obvious what you should do at this point I think. You should hop in the “hot rod”, pick me up at my house, then we should go to a Yankee game in either Florida or New York if the regular season has begun. After the game we should get back in the “hot rod” and drive to a killer lake in northern Canada or upstate Minnesota and spend a few days fishing with a few fishing rods which we can probably find at a junk yard underneath a pile of 15mm steel rods. If anyone reading this has a “hot rod” and is willing to do this, get in touch with me ASAP.
Finally if you have a few fishing rods in your garage, then just go fishing.
